The Pediatric Hospital Medicine 2026 Conference (PHM 2026) is the premier educational and networking conference for pediatric hospitalists and other professionals specializing in the care of hospitalized children. Live Webcast
This week-long intensive immersion course provides participants with theory and hands-on training with leading-edge simulation skills. Exploring state-of-the-art computerized manikins (Human Patient Simulators, or HPS) software platforms and patient actors, also known as standardized patients or participants (SP).
The curriculum covers a broad spectrum — from design and implementation of simulation scenarios to setting up and running a simulation center. Participants completing the week-long course will earn a Drexel University "Certificate in Simulation."
Up to 27.25 Continuing Nursing Education Contact Hours will be provided.

Pain in Prison: Assessment and Management in the Correctional Context

This webinar examines pain assessment and management through a biopsychosocial framework adapted to correctional nursing practice. Participants will learn a practical, function-focused approach to pain assessment, including strategies for distinguishing chronic pain management needs from acute or condition-specific presentations requiring further evaluation. Feasible interventions for resource-constrained correctional environments will be discussed. CBT-CP principles will be emphasized as a pragmatic approach to helping patients understand pain, improve coping and self-management, and establish realistic functional goals. The overall emphasis is on improving function, safety, dignity, self-efficacy, and patient engagement rather than relying primarily on pain-intensity scores.
